Arthur Cazaux separates from his trainer, Stéphane Huet

Accompanied during Wimbledon, where he was eliminated in the second round on Wednesday by Alexander Bublik (6-4, 7-6[1]6-4), by Laurent Raymond, the coach of the French Davis Cup team, Arthur Cazaux has ended his collaboration with Stéphane Huet, who had coached him until the end of spring. Discussions in the coming days, in particular with federal officials and the player’s entourage, should allow us to identify some leads in order to find the coach who will follow him in the second half of this 2024 season.

“Laurent had already helped me in Dubai this year,” explains the 21-year-old player. “It’s always really cool to work with him, he’s a very competent coach, who has a good analytical eye on the players. As for the future, I don’t know yet how it’s going to go. I’m going to play on hard courts soon, it’s a surface that I like, and since my health problems and injuries are behind me, there’s no reason not to string together matches and victories. I have a lot of room for improvement. As for tournaments, the next step will be the United States. As for training, I don’t know yet.”
