LG Twins infielder Austin Dean successfully won the Home Run Contest by beating Hanwha Eagles’ Jonathan Ferraza at the Com2us Professional Baseball Home Run Contest held after the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO Futures All-Star Game at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on the 5th.
Austin easily defeated two sudden deaths. The preliminaries and finals were against Kim Do-young and Ferraza respectively. Austin will receive a prize of 5 million won and the LG Cinebeam Cube.

The two-day voting was conducted on the KBO All-Star website and KBO official app from 10 a.m. on June 25 to 10 a.m. on June 27 last month.
Eight players, including SSG Choi Jung (22,906 votes), who ranked first in the fan vote for the Home Run Contest, KIA Kim Do-young (19,248 votes), Hanwha Noh Si-hwan (13,746 votes), Ferraza (10,158 votes), LG Austin (10,041 votes), Park Dong-won (100,036 votes), NC Kim Hyung-jun (10,016 votes), and KT Rojas (10,012), have qualified.
