The general meeting of the Badminton club of Theix-Noyalo took place on Friday at the Jean Touzé hall, in the presence of around forty members. Jérôme Cabioch is a happy president because his club is doing very well and the one-off actions at the level of young talents and women are bearing fruit. The number of members is now 160, including 66 young people, a record for the club.
The badminton school has obtained the three stars of the French School label and wants to keep it. The club’s objective is to continue to structure itself, and find a sporting ambition alongside recreational badminton. A new salaried coach is being sought for the competitors, he will work in the long term alongside Corentin Riou, a volunteer coach who will continue his mission of training young people.
The club will renew important events such as Tout Theix Girls and Tout Theix Bad, as well as the partnership with the Sois Olympe association, which promotes women’s sport.
