MODENA – The Badminton & Croquet Club Lecco – Lario My Car participate in the 5° Grand Prix Modena Badminton (played at the Palapanini sports hall, the home of Volley Modenese) with seven athletes and winning seven medals: 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Mattia Cattaneo climbs to the top step of the podium three times, in SM U13 after having passed the groups he conquers and wins the final against the number 1 seed Veronese (Arena Badminton) 21*17 21*19, in DM U13 in pair with Leonhard Heinisch (ASV Mals), also in this category against the no. 1 seeds Pichler/Renner (ASV Mals) 22*20 21*17 and in the XD U13 in pair with Lea Gitterle (ASV Mals) final won against Renner/Kobler (ASV Mals) 21*11 21*9.

Two podiums also for Denis Passergold in DM 55 in pair with Flavio Bettoni (CUS BG) final won against Mair/De March (ASV Mals) 21*18 21*17 and silver in SM 55 final lost against Hofer (ASV Marling) 15*21 20*22.

Bronze for the little U9 Alex Cattaneo who competed in the U11 SM category, qualified for the main draw and lost in the semi-final against Ceol (ASV Mals) 13*21 and for Nicholas Cattaneo in DM 35 paired with YI Qiu (Brescia Sport Più) where they lost the semi-final against the tournament winners De Rubeis (New Sport)/Frener (ASSV Brixen) 19*21 14*21.

Paul MilaniSM Senior round of 32 and DM Senior quarter-finals with Matthew Salvini (Brescia Sport Plus). Edvidio Milani XD 35 in pair with Clear Landi quarter-finals, SM 55 in the groups, DM 55 with Anthony of Easter (Albashuttle) round of 16.
