Top players, but also clubs from home and abroad give (almost) daily insight into the ins and outs of the football world via Instagram, X or other internet channels. In this edition of VZ Social attention for a blunder of the BBC.

The English television channel went wrong on Tuesday evening before the European Championship match between Romania and the Netherlands (0-3). The BBC broadcasted images from the dressing room and suddenly the bare buttocks of an Orange international were accidentally visible.

At the moment that presenter Gary Lineker was previewing the eighth finals of the Dutch national team, the dressing room of the Dutch national team came into view. Technical director Nigel de Jong walks through the dressing room. If you pay close attention, you will see that behind him a player of the Dutch national team is just taking off his underpants.

It is not entirely clear which Orange international it is. English comedian David Baddiel was alert and shared the fragment on X.

“I don’t think they should film in the Dutch locker room unless they want Dutch buttocks in the background?”, he writes with a wink in the video.
