Everyone has their own analysis. But the result is there: 0-1 against France on an own goal by Jan Vertonghen in the 8th minute. Inevitably, with this result, the match left many disappointed among the ranks of the supporters.
“We are really disappointed, we believed in it until the end, but unfortunately, that’s it, that’s how it is, France won”, declares a supporter who has not lost hope: “Keep it up, one day you will get there, we believe in it”, she tells the Red Devils.
His little boy is also very disappointed: “There was a foul with Doku. The other one had pushed him, he fell to the ground. The referee, he’s stupid, he doesn’t know how to play. Plus, we had more chances than them,” he says, finding the result very unfair.
“I’m still quite disgusted, but after the first half, I think we played well and we always support Belgium. It doesn’t matter if we lost, next time, we’ll win. Long live Belgium,” said a supporter.
Overall, it is with a smile that the Belgians accept the elimination of the Red Devils… It is only a postponement.
