Bronny James Set to Begin Journey with South Bay Lakers in G-League

Bronny James will begin his journey with the Los Angeles Lakes at the NBA 2K25 Summer League and will then be assigned to their G-League affiliate. I South Bay Lakers, here’s where Bronny will play next season, apart from a few small glimpses at the beginning of the Regular Season to allow LeBron James and his son to spend a few minutes together on the court.

The Lakers’ intention is clear. Bronny must first gain experience by moving through the development league where he will understand how to approach professional basketball. LeBron Jr. signed a four-year, $7.9 million contract with the purple and yellow team (the $100 million extension signed by his father is much richer), but according to Adrian Wojnarowski he will not have the opportunity to play many games in the NBA in 2024-25.

He’ll be in the G-League like any 19-year-old kid who was drafted with the 55th pick. He’ll be on the court with his dad in the first week of the regular season, but it’s very likely he won’t play for the Lakers.

Bronny finished his lone year of college at the University of South California with a 4.3 point average.then being selected in the 55th pick of the Draft. In the 2024-25 season, the Los Angeles Lakers aim to raise LeBron’s son through the development league and then bring him to the NBA. Will the following season be the one of his definitive arrival in the league?
