The tournament in Jesi will last four days, from Tuesday to next Friday and will take place in Piazza della Repubblica (from 3 to 11:50 p.m.). “It all started – explain the promoters – from a tournament held five years ago inside the parish of San Sebastiano from the idea of a few young boys from Jesi with a passion for basketball and the desire to bring something to their hometown that had never existed before. Being able to hold the tournament in the most prestigious square in the city is a real honor. We have reached the point of having four categories within the same tournament: U14 Male, U16 Male, U18 Male, Senior Male. We will set up Piazza della Repubblica – they add – with a regulation 3×3 court, enriching the event with an area dedicated to children so they can play basketball, so as to try to transmit the passion for basketball to even the littlest ones while they watch professional players make a basket. There will also be four gazebos of exhibitors around the fountain, one of which will provide food and drinks for those who want it, one with physiotherapists who will be available to all the players in the tournament and one of our staff. We decided to do it to enrich the offer that we wanted to propose to the city, this year that we finally had the necessary support from the municipal administration”.
