On Friday, during the orienteering competition “Kāpa 2024” in Daugavpils, a car driver hit a cyclist in the forest, the State Police informs.
On Friday, law enforcement officers received information about a Lithuanian citizen who participated in the orienteering competition “Kāpa 2024” in Daugavpils. During the event, a citizen of Latvia, born in 2003, collided with him while driving on a forest road with a “BMW 320” car.
The Lithuanian citizen was injured during the collision, but refused hospitalization.
The information on the website of the competition shows that it is organized by the orienteering club “Kāpa” in cooperation with the Daugavpils municipal institution “Youth Affairs and Sports Administration”, the Latvian Orienteering Federation and the orienteering club “Stiga”.
