Sports Illustrated published a list Of this year’s top receivers in the NFC East, the list is comprised of six players, and since there are four teams in the division, some are obviously quickly identifiable. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles were the teams that each had two receivers on the list, while only one each from the Giants and Commanders were proposed.
CeeDee Lamb, the best receiver in the NFC East
Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks came in at number five on the list, behind the Eagles’ two receivers. However, CeeDee Lamb topped the list, noting that he is “clearly the best.” In 2023, Lamb exploded for a league-high 135 receptions and a franchise-record 12 touchdowns. He also had the longest reception of the season when he caught a 92-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott against the Detroit Lions.
“His numbers already surpass anything (Eagles receiver AJ) Brown has done in his career, but the difference becomes even greater when you add in his career numbers,” the publication said. “In addition to his work as a receiver, Lamb ran the ball 14 times, totaling 113 yards and two other touchdowns.”

They also point out that Lamb accomplished all of this without the kind of help the Eagles have from their running game.
