The sporting year has come to an end. The 83 members of the judo club were invited on Tuesday to a final training session supervised by André Boutin, 7th dan judo teacher. An end of the season traditionally marked by the awarding of belts and ranks to licensees.
“We are satisfied with this season, where we experienced positive results in the various competitionssays Gaëlle Assier, the club’s president. Three juniors participated in the French team championship of the department, five juniors who made the departmental championship and four in the regionals, including Jean Speziani, who is one of our hopes for a black belt. Over the course of the season we have formed a core of adults. Our hope is that it will grow during the next season.
