Chelsea Announces Kit Number Changes for 2024/25 Squad

With new additions to the squad and departures for the 2024/25 season, Chelsea have released the first changes to their kit numbers.

Although it is not the final numbering, the club revealed changes ahead of the pre-season that will be held in the United States at the end of the month.

A Cobham graduate, defender Levi Colwill will wear the number 6 shirt from next season. The number was worn in recent campaigns by Brazilian Thiago Silva, who left the club at the end of his contract.

Wesley Fofana, French defender will now wear the number 29 shirt.

New additions Tosin Adarabioyo will wear the number 4 shirt, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will wear the number 22 shirt, the same number he wore during his time at Leicester City.

The youngsters added to the squad, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu and Renato Veiga will wear numbers 37, 38 and 40 respectively.
