Chilean Athletics Team Qualifies for Paris 2024 Olympics

The Chilean athletics team received good news on Tuesday, after the last qualifiers for this discipline for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games were confirmed.

Gabriel Kehr will compete in his second Olympic Games after finishing 12th in the world rankings in the men’s hammer throw.

Kehr will not be the only Chilean in this event, as Humberto Mansilla will also be present in Paris after reaching 16th place in the world ranking.

Martina Weil also qualified for the Olympic Games. The national athlete will compete in the women’s 400-meter dash after finishing 37th in the world ranking for her event.

Ivana Gallardo will make her Olympic debut, after achieving 21st place in the world ranking of the women’s shot put.

Another national athlete who will make his Olympic debut will be Martín Sáenz, who qualified after finishing 39th in the world ranking for the 110-meter hurdles.

These athletes join Carlos Díaz, Hugo Catrileo and Claudio Romero as our representatives in the athletics events.
