Clara Burel and Varvara Gracheva lined up in doubles at the Paris Olympics

There will be a second French pair in women’s doubles at the Paris Olympic Games (July 27 – August 4). The French Tennis Federation announced Thursday morning that Clara Burel (45th) and Varvara Gracheva (70th), already entered in singles, would be teamed up in doubles “following the officialization of the ITF”. The first pair is composed of Caroline Garcia (24th) and Diane Parry (53rd), also selected in singles.

In the men’s singles, the line-up is Ugo Humbert (16th), Gaël Monfils (33rd), Arthur Fils (34th) and Corentin Moutet (61st), who withdrew from Wimbledon due to bone edema. The pairs Fabien Reboul / Édouard Roger-Vasselin and Ugo Humbert / Arthur Fils will represent the Blues in the doubles.

The FFT has until July 24 to register a mixed doubles pair, which could be composed of Roger-Vasselin and Garcia.
