Colombia leads group after tying with Brazil

In the game to determine positions in Group D of the Copa América, Colombia and Brazil played to a one-goal tie. The draw allowed the Colombians to remain at the top of the group with seven points.

In the final moments of the match, Andreas Pereira took a shot that made the Colombian goalkeeper struggle. With no more time on the scoreboard, both teams advanced to the quarterfinals.

With this result, Colombia is now group leader with seven points, followed by Brazil with five. The Colombians will face Panama in the quarterfinals, while the Brazilians will face Uruguay.

In the second match of Group D, Costa Rica defeated Paraguay 2-1. Both teams are out of the current edition of the Copa América.
