Creativity is a top priority for the team of supervisors at JC Sakura e. V. in Hannover-Döhren when it comes to offering the club’s children and young people interesting game ideas, even outside the sports hall, in the fresh air. This year, the supervisors played the popular game of Mister X together with the “judo juniors”.
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, everyone involved met at a central location in Döhren: Three teams were formed at Fiedelerplatz, each with six children and two supervisors. The idea of the game is explained as follows: The team that had drawn the lot from Mister X went or ran ahead. The other two teams waited ten minutes, then the search began. The so-called Mister X team then showed its location every 10 minutes.
The Mister X team was caught and found once. Then the catchers became Mister X again and the search continued. The search was carried out in the area of Döhren and in the Leinemasch. After a good two and a half hours, everyone involved met again at Fiedlerplatz.
At the end of this successful team-building task, all participants were rewarded for their efforts with an ice cream in the local ice cream parlor. The children then spent time on the playground until the parents arrived to pick up their children. Supervisor Tanja Weber was positive about the fun in the fresh air, which was also evident from the reactions: “Afterwards, the children asked when there would be another game.” We are therefore excited about the creative game ideas to come. And at this point, we should not forget to say a big “thank you” to those who were involved in the planning, organization and implementation so that the search for Mister X could take place.
