Cristiano Ronaldo’s Penalty Misses Lead Portugal to Quarter-Finals in Euro 2024

DUESSELDORF, KOMPAS.TV – France and Portugal became the latest teams to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2024 European Cup or Euro 2024, Monday (1/7/2024) or Tuesday (2/7/2024) WIB.

France narrowly beat Belgium 1-0 in the last 16, while Portugal won on penalties against Slovenia.

Playing at the Merkur Spiel-Arena Stadium, Dusseldorf, Germany, France, which was more favored, often showed attacking initiatives against Belgium. However, Kylian Mbappe and his friends found it difficult to penetrate the opponent’s defense.
