CVN Badminton Sees Growth in Youth Membership at Annual General Meeting

CVN Badminton held its annual general meeting. In the gymnasium, around fifty people gathered to listen to the results of the past year. The opportunity for Alex Bonnafous, president of the club, to recall the good health of the club and the attraction aroused by young players. “We were affected by Covid. In 2017, we had 178 members, compared to 152 in 2023. But if we look at the figures, we see that in one year, we had twenty-six new registrants. Our commitment to training young people and these figures show that we are able to satisfy people.”

Rising numbers among young people, which encourage the club to invest in a coaching position. “We currently have four qualified coaches, we have a financial surplus that we are putting aside to hire a professional.” A sports season that ends on a mixed note, with results in D1 and D3 impacted by the lack of women.
