“Listen, I’ve always said that I understand this situation because I think it’s very, it’s very spectacular. But if you really want my opinion, I would prefer to play in three sets, that’s just my personal opinion. I don’t even have a valid explanation for it. That’s just how I want it to happen. But what is true is that the format of the “majors” makes things much more intense mentally, physically. Like the Australian Open this year where I have a rather special memory because of the five sets that I finally won.”
