Darryl Middleton (New York, 1966) joins as a assistant coach of the club’s first team. After a long and distinguished career as a player for Europe’s elite, Middleton has developed his career as an assistant coach from 2014 to 2022 at one of the continent’s top teams, CSKA Moscow, as an assistant by Dimitris Itoudis.
“I am very happy to return to Fontajau after so many years away, after being at CSKA Moscow for 7 years and in China for 1 year. It is very good to be back home, to be able to see the fans and to come here as assistant coach to help the team as much as he can,” says Middleton. “I think my main goal is to help these guys win as many games as possible. We have a young team, but I think we can achieve a lot together and I’ll do my best to help the guys improve.”
