The French Basketball Federation (FFBB) and the National Basketball League (LNB) announced today the sale of the audiovisual rights to the Betclic ELITE French championship to the world’s leading sports streaming platform DAZN, over a period of five years, from September 2024 to June 2029.
Following a consultation of the audiovisual market, this strategic partnership marks a historic turning point for French basketball with the commitment of DAZN.
The expected schedule of broadcasts is as follows:
- A match every Friday at 8:00 p.m.,
- Two matches on Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and two matches at 8:00 p.m.,
- Two matches on Sundays at 5:00 p.m.,
- A match every Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to these weekly events, DAZN will extend its coverage to major events organized by the LNB: the ALL STAR GAME in December, the LEADERS CUP in February and the introduction of a new tournament dedicated to young talents in January.
The EuroCup will still be broadcast on Skweek TV next season.
