The world number 1 did not tremble on the courts during her entry into the competition at Wimbledon.
World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, less comfortable on grass than on clay in particular, made a fine start to the competition on Tuesday at Wimbledon by dominating the American Sofia Kenin (49th) 6-3, 6-4.
Swiatek, beaten in the quarter-finals last year for her best result on the London grass, will face Croatian Petra Martic (85th) or British Francesca Jones (215th) in the next round.
On Tuesday, she won her twentieth consecutive victory, taking titles in Madrid, Rome and Roland Garros.
