Already strong with Lauri Markkanen, John Collins and Walker Kessler, the Jazz racket receives reinforcement from Drew EubanksThe former Spurs center had decided to test the market, and leave the Suns, and ESPN announces he’s signing a two-year, $10 million contract. That’s a pretty good deal for the Jazz, who aren’t dipping into their reserves.
Endowed with great athletic qualities, but unable to shoot from afar, Eubanks brings a new profile to the Jazz. Even if he wanted to extend alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the franchise could not offer him more than the minimum salary. At Utah, he will double his salary, and that was his priority.
“The whole franchise wants me back next year and I want to be a Phoenix Suns player next year”he explained recently. “I will make the best decision for my family and myself when the time comes.”
In Phoenix, we have already replaced him with the arrival of Mason Plumlee, whose profile is similar with relaxation and sure hands near the circle.
