The team of new coach Steven Esterkamp will host SC Rasta Vechta II for the northern derby in the Stadthalle on Sunday, September 22nd at 3 p.m. The Eisbären will play their first away game on Sunday, September 29th at 4 p.m. at Science City Jena.
Main round lasts until the end of April
The second division season will open on Friday, September 20th, with the duel between the Gladiators Trier and the Tigers Tübingen (7.30 p.m., Sportdeutschland.tv). In the main round, the ranking of the best eight teams will be played out over 34 match days until the end of April.
