Frankfurt am Main – The European Championships are not only the time for great football stars, but also, unfortunately, for numerous celebrities who want to use the attention for their own ends. One of them is comedian Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40), who caused absolute embarrassment after Germany’s draw in the last group match against Switzerland.

After the final whistle, the TV presenter stormed into the front row of the Dortmund stadium when he saw national coach Julian Nagelsmann (36) heading towards the stands.
He pushed his way through everyone and held out his hand to the selection coach to shake hands. The astonished Nagelsmann complied with his request, but then pushed Heufer-Umlauf to the side quite forcefully with both hands.
He actually wanted to hug his brother André (48). And that’s what he did when the TV star finally made room.

Klaas took a sip from his drink cup to cover up the irritating moment.
A video from a user of X shows the embarrassing moment. The clip has now gone viral, even tennis legend Boris Becker (56) shared the post with the word “lol” (lough out loud).

Today, Tuesday, Klaas himself spoke out on Instagram.
“After a warm welcome from Julian Nagelsmann, I’m going through the game with him again, minute by minute. He was very excited, but grateful,” he writes.
There is a reason for the picture, because Toni Kroos (34) apparently brought the presenter into the interior of the Frankfurt Stadium after his moment of embarrassment.
