Ten swimmers from the ESNA swimming club Lanzarote Together with their coaches they traveled to Gran Canaria from June 27 to 30 to compete in the Regional Absolute, Junior and Children’s Summer Championship (VII Gregorio Socorro Soto Memorial) which was held at the José Feo Perdomo Swimming Pool at the CN Metropole, where the Lanzarote team demonstrated an exceptional performance.
Thanks to the collective effort, ESNA Lanzarote stood out as the 4th Junior club in the Canary Islands, accumulating a total of 333.50 points.
Achievements in relays and individual events
One of the highlights was the third place in the men’s 4×100 freestyle relay, won by the swimmers Gabriel Navarro, Iker Fernandez, Kameron Kezele and Nicolas Manzattowho achieved a time of 3:45.15. They also finished fourth in the 4×100 medley relay, marking a time of 4:13.46.

In individual tests, Nicolas Manzatto obtained a silver medal in 100 freestyle and 200 medleyas well as a bronze medal in 200 freestylein addition to securing third place in the Junior Men’s category by FINA points.

For its part, Iván Colodrero achievement Gold in the 200 and 400 freestyle eventsthus consolidating his participation in the next Spanish championship in various eventsand obtaining second place in the Men’s Junior category by FINA points.
The Regional Swimming Championship in Gran Canaria has been a real success for ESNA Lanzarote, with significant improvements in the swimmers’ personal bests and an enriching sporting atmosphere alongside the other participating clubs.
