Exciting Summer Fun at Reden Adventure Resort for Kids of All Ages

During the summer holidays, children can look forward to a varied and exciting program at the Reden adventure resort that is guaranteed to keep them from getting bored. With workshops, discovery tours and hands-on activities, there is something for every age group, as site manager Eric Schneider explains:

Craft and nature conservation workshop: On July 17, children aged six and over can build butterfly houses together with their parents or accompanying adults in the Great Workshop. These kits offer butterflies a safe shelter and are very easy to assemble. The workshop promises not only fun, but also a valuable opportunity to learn more about nature conservation and to make an active contribution.

Forest course for the little ones: On July 18, the water garden will be transformed into an exciting forest course in the Saar Forest. Under the motto “Take a walk and become a forest master!”, children of kindergarten and primary school age will learn interesting facts about life in the forest at eight stations. The course is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and everyone can start individually. All you need to do is register on site to receive the running card. Primary school and kindergarten children will also receive small surprises as a reward.

Guided tour of the restoration workshop and antiquities collection: Also on July 18th and August 22nd, the employees of the State Monument Office will be offering child-friendly tours of the restoration workshop and the antiquities collection. The little researchers can even get involved themselves and learn a lot of exciting things about historical objects and their preservation.

Bat Safari: On August 9th and 23rd, bat fans of all ages will be the focus of attention. On the bat safari, participants can observe the animals in their natural habitat. With the help of an ultrasound detector, the sounds of the bats, which are inaudible to humans, are made audible while they demonstrate their spectacular flight maneuvers while hunting for insects.

Big children’s festival at the end of the SR 3 Summer Alm: The highlight of the holiday program takes place on Sunday, July 28th. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the youth offices of the Neunkirchen district, the Youth Red Cross, the fire department, the Saarland Judo Association, the Neunkirchen district tourism and culture center and SR 3 Saarlandwelle invite you to the big children’s festival. Numerous free hands-on activities such as craft programs, bouncy castles, face painting and firefighting exercises offer the children great experiences. Particularly exciting are the insights into the Saarland Broadcasting Broadcasting’s broadcast van and the tours on the Alm-Express over the panoramic route of the Redener Halde. The television station “Kika” presents the stage program on this day. The young visitors to the SR 3-SommerAlm can experience how “Bernd the Bread” always grumpily undergoes astronaut training. Tom Lehel and the Dancing Tapir invite you to join in with the “Dance Alarm Show”, and even “The Mouse” has announced that he will be dancing along. The legendary Eddi Zauberfinger with his cult songs will of course not be missing and will delight the kids.

For some events, it is further stated, participation is only possible after prior registration. Detailed information and registration at:
