Experienced Midfielder Miloš Kratochvíl Makes Club Switch After Six Years

Experienced 28-year-old midfielder Miloš Kratochvíl changes club colors after six years. The long-time supporter of Jablonec was released during the summer camp to negotiate the terms of the move. It is not yet known where the native of Karlovy Vary with a past in Zbrojovce Brno or Pilsen will go, but it will undoubtedly be announced in the coming days.

Kratochvíl was one of the key players of Jablonec and helped the team not only in the Czech top competition and the domestic cup, but also in European cups, for example. He recently signed a new contract at Střelnica, but an offer allegedly came his way that he couldn’t refuse.

“I’ve got a lot of emotions in me right now and it’s like, I’m really sad, I’m going to miss the boys and the cabin. The apple tree taught me a lot. When I went to Jablonec, I didn’t expect it to turn into this. I came to the team where the cups were played, I was a young boy. I didn’t expect what it turned out to be at all.” Kratochvíl let himself be heard on the Jablonec club website.

Kratochvíl has been working in the north of Bohemia since 2018, when he came from Viktoria Plzeň. He played 167 competitive matches for Jablonec, scoring 26 goals and 11 assists. Before this engagement, he gained experience mainly on loan in Zbrojovce Brno or Sokolov.

“We agreed that he would continue in Jablonec, but negotiations about a possible transfer were also taking place during the training camp. In the end, an agreement was reached and Miloš Kratochvíl traveled from the training camp on Tuesday after lunch so that his transfer could be completed.” Jablonec spokesman Martin Bergman stated on the club’s website.
