After having had an excellent performance in the 2024 edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL)the Fath Union Sports is now aiming for the title in the Excellence Division this season. Opposed to theAS Sale in the final, the capital club won on Sunday in the first round of the final round which is played over five rounds. Taking advantage of the confidence that reigns within the group and the excellent form of the players, the FUS coach, Said El Bouzidimanaged the match perfectly, winning the first half with a comfortable lead of 14 points (39-25), before sealing the victory in the second half (82-56) with a 26-point lead.
In the second leg of the final, which will be played this Wednesday (7 p.m.), the capital club will try to confirm its superiority by renewing its victory over the Corsaires du Bouregreg. Note that the final of the Division Excellence takes place over five rounds, the fifth and final match is scheduled for July 13. Note also that the title of the Division Excellence dames was won by theIttihad de Tangerwho won in the final against Kawkab de Marrakech.
