FC Augsburg has signed the talented Yusuf Kabadayi from rival FC Bayern Munich for the 2024/25 Bundesliga season.
The 20-year-old striker, who was most recently loaned to FC Schalke 04 in the German second Bundesliga, is moving from Bayern to Augsburg for around 900 thousand euros. This was reported by Sport-Bild editor Tobi Altschäffl, according to whose information Kabadayi is said to have signed a four-year contract.
The attacker went through all the youth stations at Säbener Straße and played for the second team of the German record champions before being loaned to Gelsenkirchen for a season. He scored four goals in 23 games. Kabadayi has also impressed in seven U-national matches for the DFB team.
Meanwhile, Augsburg’s top scorer Ermedin Demirovic could be about to leave, as runners-up VfB Stuttgart have shown interest in the Bosnian and are likely to seek to sign him.
