After his loan to Frosinone Calcio, FC Bayern Munich rewarded Arijon Ibrahimovic twice. The 18-year-old attacker received a new contract until 2027 – and will be a permanent member of the professional squad in the future.

“Arijon Ibrahimovic was able to gain valuable experience last season at Frosinone Calcio in one of Europe’s top leagues at the age of 17, and not just on the pitch,” said Christopher Freund, praising the loan returnee who took the step to Frosinone in Serie A last summer as a 17-year-old. “That helped him progress enormously – and now he’s getting the chance to show what he can do with our professionals.”
The record champions extended the contract of the Nuremberg native, which was originally due to run until 2025, until 2027. He moved to the Bavarian capital in the summer of 2018 and made his Bundesliga debut in February 2023. Kicker had already reported on Munich’s future plans for Ibrahimovic at the beginning of June. “Arijon can be used in all positions in attack, has a strong mentality and always has a good drive towards goal. He came to the FC Bayern Campus at the age of 12 – we are very happy with how he is making his way,” Freund continued.

“The season in the Italian Serie A has helped me progress personally and athletically, I have learned a lot,” Ibrahimovic is sure. “Now I can hardly wait to get started here. I want to develop further, give everything for my team and win many titles with FC Bayern.”
Ibrahimovic played 16 games in Serie A for Frosinone – and set a new record by becoming the youngest player in the top five leagues to score in a game and set up another goal. He can now recommend himself for further appearances in the Bundesliga in new coach Vincent Kompany’s team, which starts pre-season training on July 15th.
