FC Bayern wants to sign stars like Xavi Simons or Désiré Doué. The bosses are apparently pursuing a special strategy for the possible transfers.
Munich – Max Eberl and Xavi Simons already know each other from their, albeit short, time together at RB Leipzig. Bayern’s sporting director was instrumental in the transfer of the now 21-year-old last summer. The fact that Eberl is currently trying everything to win his protégé back has been known since the reports about the daily phone calls with Paris and the players’ side.

At 19, Désiré Doué is a little younger than Simons, but is considered to be just as talented as the Dutchman in a similar position. The reports about a move to Munich are getting hotter for him, too, and he can well imagine such a move.
Bavaria is probably pursuing a two-pronged approach
However, anyone who thinks that Bayern would have to focus on one of the two youngsters in order to go all-in on a potential transfer is apparently mistaken. According to information from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bayern would like to keep the options open for transfers of both players.

According to the report, on the one hand, Bayern are ready to make another offer for Doué at Stade Rennes after their first offer failed. On the other hand, according to Romano, Bayern are patiently waiting for a response from Xavi Simons and his agent.
It is therefore entirely possible that both players will find their way to Säbener Straße or that FC Bayern simply wants to protect themselves against a candidate’s rejection. However, the German record champions will undoubtedly have to continue to generate revenue through sales and free up salary budget in order to make possible top transfers financially possible.
