With the aim of finalizing details for the XXXI National University Games, which will take place from September 19 to October 2, 2024 in the cities of Armenia and Pereira, the technical coordinator of the sporting events, Héctor Fabio Hernández Sierra, made a technical visit to the University of Quindío, which will host three disciplines: squash, badminton and athletics.
“We came to the university to hold a meeting with the coordinators of the three sports that will be held in Armenia. We talked about the requirements and technical conditions of the venues and disciplines. The preparation of the University of Quindío, led by Rigoberto Salazar, has been excellent. Our visit was very fruitful,” Hernández Sierra said.
«We will continue adjusting details until the last day. The university venues are in excellent condition for holding these Games. On August 12, the official consolidated number of registrants for all disciplines will be known, which will take place in the two coffee capitals simultaneously,” the coordinator also indicated.
The stages of the alma mater are therefore ready for a celebration that will welcome athletes, teams, coaches and families of the participants.
