Undefeated champion of the Olaria Cup, Fluminense’s U-16 team begins its campaign in the second edition of the Amazon Cup this Thursday (04/07). The competition, which will be held between July 4th and 7th, brings together several clubs from the region, such as Paysandu.

Making its debut in the competition, Tricolor, which opens the first round at 2:20 pm, against Maracanã FC, makes up Group A, which also includes Boca Jr. and Castanhal. The ball rolls at the Castanhal Training Center.
The championship has 20 participants, divided into five groups of four members, who will play each other in a single round, within their respective groups. The leaders of each group and the three best second-placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals.
In knockout matches, in the event of a draw, the decision will go to penalties. The games will be played in two 25-minute halves, with a 10-minute break. Coaches can make up to 11 substitutions in a maximum of three stoppages, without taking into account the break.
