France beats Turkey comfortably in its first match of preparation for the Paris Olympics

The French basketball team, led by Victor Wembanyama, easily won against Turkey in its first preparation match for the Olympic Games (96-46).

The French basketball team, launched into its Olympic preparation, easily disposed of Turkey. Led by its two NBA stars, Victor Wembanyama (24 PTS – 10/14 – 6 RBS – 4 AST – 3 BLK) and Rudy Gobert (10 PTS – 5 RBS), the Blues never gave the Turks any chance of hope, taking a lead of more than 20 points in the first quarter.

The French then rolled out to win with a score of 96 to 46. The Blues can now turn to the next two preparation matches which will see them face the Germans, reigning world champions, twice on Saturday (4 p.m.) and Monday (9 p.m.).
