The Bleuets begin their preparation for the Olympic Games. Twenty days before their entry into the tournament, Thierry Henry’s players face Paraguay in a friendly match at the Jean-Dauger stadium in Bayonne.
This is a first start before two other friendlies, against the Dominican Republic on July 11 and Japan on July 17. It will allow the coach of this French Olympic team to test his players, including reinforcements Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace).
After this preparation, France will open its Olympic tournament against the United States on July 24 in Marseille, before facing Guinea on July 27 in Nice and New Zealand on July 30 in Marseille.
The match between France and Paraguay will take place on Thursday, July 4 at 9:15 p.m. It will be broadcast live on La Chaîne L’Équipe.
