French Archery Elite Championship 2023: A Weekend of High-Level Competition and Surprises

Among the participants, many headliners will be present in all categories. In particular, Quentin Baraer (Rennes), Alicia Baumert (Laurens), Sophie Dodemont (Teals), Nicolas Girard (St-Martin de Crau), Adrien Gontier (Compiegne), David Jackson (Laurens), Audrey Machinet (Arcis-sur-Aube), accustomed to wearing the tricolor colors during international competitions and medalists on several occasions.

The current French champions will also be there for the most part. In compound bow, Juliette Tisserond (Ardin) et al Pierre-Julien Deloche (Riom) will put their title back into play. In classic bow, same fight sinceAurelie Autret (Live) and Valentin Morlot (Perpignan) will take part in the competition. A little surprise in barebow since the current French Champion, Alexander Antoine (Villeneuve d’Ascq) who had managed to bring down the multi-medalist, David Jackson (Laurens) will not be present to try to keep his title.

In U21, only the 2023 French champions, Lorena Martin Aubey (Rennes – classic bow) and Gautier Salard (Ardin-compound bow) will be present.

An edition with a high level which promises to be a weekend full of surprises as the discipline demands.

Please note that the French Elite championship will count as a selection support for the World Championship Field Shooting which will take place in Lac la Biche in Canada from September 16 to 22.
