The 24-year-old Venezuelan forward went 3-for-5 and hit his fourth home run of the season, bringing in fellow countryman Eugenio Suárez and tying the score at four runs in the top of the third inning. The blast went 103.3 mph and traveled 388 feet to center field, being Moreno’s fourth homer against the Dodgers – including the postseason – of which three have been at Dodger Stadium.

From there, it was all Arizona. Christian Walker hit a home run in the fourth inning to give his team a 5-4 lead, and in the fifth, Dominican Geraldo Perdomo added the sixth run with a suicide bunt.

Later, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. joined the party with a two-run shot to make it 8-4 in the eighth inning, Eugenio Suárez hit his second double of the night to bring in the ninth and finally Walker took charge of sealing the score with another home run and bringing home three runs.

Christian Walker finished the day 4-for-5 with three runs scored, four RBIs and a walk, while with his two brought in, Gabriel Moreno reached 28 and Eugenio Suárez reached 34 in a day in which he went 2-for-3, with a record, two walks and a strikeout.

However, the victory went to Bryce Jarvis (1-2) and the loser was Ryan Yarbrough (3-2).
