After three years, center Gavin Schilling returns to the Braunschweig Lions of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). The nine-time German national player most recently played for Basket Pesaro in Italy and has been given a one-year contract. The 28-year-old was already under contract in Braunschweig in the 2020/2021 season. Schilling, then the second-best rebounder in the BBL, only played four games for Pesaro last season due to hip problems. The two parted ways amicably in November.
