GIRONA “At the moment, how many signings have we made? Ruiz, 21 years old, trained in the youth academy of Girona, landed in the Spanish capital in 2018 and this summer his contract ended: he has not renewed and is returning home at zero cost. The others involved are Juan Rodríguez, Andrés García and Raúl Asencio. Investigators also suspect evidence, such as some WhatsApp conversations, was later deleted. Ruiz accepted the right not to testify and the case continues without a verdict. Madrid, at the time, did not make any decision about the footballers, who continued to compete as normal.
Girona can break the contract if there is a ruling
