Golden State Warriors Pursuing Buddy Hield in Sign-and-Trade Deal with Philadelphia

The Warriors continue to move in the market. If they have already reinforced themselves with De’Anthony Melton and Kyle Anderson, they are now working to do the same with Buddy Hield, a player they also want to acquire through a sign-and-trade.

According to Shams Charania of The AthleticGolden State is in talks with Philadelphia in an attempt to close a mutually beneficial deal to secure one of the NBA’s best shooters.

Hield, who had a fantastic stint playing for the Indiana Pacers, was traded to the Sixers last February, at a time when it was understood that he could be a fantastic complement to Joel Embiid; however, neither when the center was injured nor upon his return did we see the best version of the shooting guard.

Despite this latest blemish on his career, Hield is still a player who has shot 40 percent on three-pointers in the eight years he has been in the NBA and who is still only 31 years old, so he has time to contribute a lot to the team that ends up acquiring his services in the current free agency.
