After Daniel dos Anjos, Guarani confirmed another reinforcement from Portuguese football. On Wednesday night (03), Bugre announced the arrival of defender Renê Santos.
Renê spent around five years at Marítimo, divided into two stints. Last season, the defender made 35 appearances for the club, which finished fourth in the second division.
Having played for Cruzeiro and Grêmio in the youth teams and started his professional career with Bahia, Renê Santos won the championship in Georgia with Dinamo Tbilisi, also played in Saudi Arabia and, in Brazil, played for Vitória, Atlético Goianiense and Paraná. He had been out of the country since 2018.
