As part of the Terre de Jeux 2024 label, the municipality of Guidel, in collaboration with local associations, invited the public to come and discover and try out different sports disciplines in Guidel-Plages on Saturday, June 29. According to the organizers, more than a hundred people came during the afternoon. Team sports attracted a little less young people who came with their families. On the other hand, they favored archery. There was a continuous flow on their stand to aim at the targets. A final highlight is planned for the start of the school year as part of the label’s activities. “It will take place on August 31. The sports activities will offer an open day so that everyone can try it out. It is currently being organized with dedicated slots and associations that are mobilizing well,” announced Jacques Greves, deputy for sports, who pointed out that this meeting will precede the forum that will be held the following week, on September 7, in Prat-Foen.
