Having just left Lyon, Henrique was on FC Nantes’ radar for this summer. But as the player and the club have not reached an agreement, the left-back is unlikely to join the Canaries during the off-season.

Nantes seeks to recruit smartly
The Henrique trail is closing for FC Nantes. As revealed by RMC Sport at the end of June, the Canaries tried to convince the left-back to join the club, which was fighting to stay in Ligue 1 last season and is looking to recruit smartly. Free since the announcement of his departure from OL, Henrique was a good opportunity.
But the Brazilian player, who joined Lyon in 2021 from Vasco da Gama (45 games played, 13 last season), and the Nantes club have not managed to reach an agreement. Henrique should therefore not sign in Nantes.
