Hidalgo Shines with 62 National Medals in 2024 CONADE Nationals

Hidalgo Sport.- With a total of 62 national medals, divided into 14 gold, 21 silver and 27 bronze, Hidalgo concluded its participation in the 2024 CONADE Nationals, winning the same number of golds as last year and surpassing the silver medals.

Making history once again, mountain biking dominated the national medal table for the discipline, after becoming two-time champions by winning three golds, three silvers and two bronzes.

Cycling, the number one discipline in the state medal table, won three golds, seven silvers and two bronzes, making a total of 12 medals during its participation in the mountain, road, track and time trial modalities.

Taekwondo was ranked as the second best sport in Hidalgo, after winning 3 golds, four silvers and four bronzes.

Swimming, won nine medals divided into five gold, two silver and two bronze, becoming the sport with the highest number of gold medals. Likewise, María Belén Santolaya Y Rivera, in 2024, became the state’s top medalist in CONADE Nationals by winning 22 medals, eight gold, seven silver and seven bronze.

Judo and associated wrestling ranked fourth and fifth respectively, after collecting eight and six medals in total.

Rodeo, in its second year of participation, achieved its first bronze medal in the hands of Hidalgo’s Karla Cid Hernández in the pole race event.
