HTG Bad Homburg suffers defeat against VfL Sindelfingen in 2nd Judo Bundesliga South

    Sindelfingen (jf). Nothing but expenses! On the fifth day of competition in the 2nd Judo Bundesliga South, the men’s team of HTG Bad Homburg returned to the spa town with a completely predictable 3:11 defeat from league leader VfL Sindelfingen.

    In the Glass Palace in Sindelfingen, HTG coach Mario Rolle’s protégés won the first fight through Milan Küster (in the 81-kilogram class against Felix Wagner), but then six defeats followed in the first round, with only Oliver Poslajko in the class up to 73 kilograms against Botond Szeredas not losing with “Ippon”, but staying on the mat for the entire four minutes.

    In the second round, Leon Schreder (up to 90 kg against Marius Kölblinger) and Lukas Schreder (up to 100 kg against Jakob Seybold) scored two victories for the guests, but they could not prevent HTG Bad Homburg from losing the season. Egor Kozynchenko (over 100 kg), Malte Schreder (up to 60 kg), Konuralp Dursum (up to 81 kg) and Lukas Fertig (up to 60 kg) also took to the mat for Bad Homburg in Sindelfingen.

    The HTG judokas will contest their last two fights in this second division season on August 31st against JC Rüsselsheim and on September 7th against second-placed TSB Ravensburg in their own dojo in Primodeus Park.

    The other results: 1. JC Rüsselsheim – Judo-Team Rheinland 12:2 and TSB Ravensburg – ESV Ingolstadt 11:3.
