Directly from Shabab Al-Ahl, in the United Arab Emirates, center forward Igor Jesus, 23, has already landed in Rio de Janeiro to defend Botafogo and was officially announced by the club through social media.
The player has already undergone tests and assessments and began training with his new teammates on Monday morning. The youngster will be available to the coaching staff from July 10th, when the Brazilian football transfer window opens.
Igor Jesus was discovered by Coritiba, but was sold at a young age, at 19, to Shabab Al-Ahli. Last season, he played 25 matches, won 18 of them, scored 17 goals and gave four assists.
