“It was something that just popped up. My family and I are a little worried about it. I have to have a procedure done on my face on August 1. I’m mentally fine and I’m going to continue to be on the team, although I don’t know how much this will interfere with that,” the quarterback explained at a press conference.

Haenerwho appeared before the media with a patch on his right cheek, explained that last week he felt a lump on his face that led him to have a biopsy done, from which the diagnosis was obtained.
“With this skin cancer, if you wait, things spread, so I have to take care of it. I feel like I’m pretty young and healthy, but I want to take care of it, be responsible about it and not make it a distraction because I’m going to be fine, everything’s going to be under control,” she said optimistically.

The former star of Fresno State Bulldogs of college football, who reached the Saints Selected in the fourth round of last year’s draft, he highlighted the attention and empathy he has received from the coaching staff and teammates in the Saints.
“The team has been excellent regarding this situation, they have supported me in everything. I feel that it will not be something that will put my life in danger at this time,” he stressed.
