INTERVIEWS Jan-Carlo Simic is RSCA’s first incoming transfer this season, arriving from AC Milan where he made his debut last season. He admits to feeling good mentally and physically although it has not been long since he returned to training.

He is part of the group for the first match against Sint-Truiden but it is impossible to say whether he will start the match or not. He confides that he has already found his feet at the club and that he feels well integrated into the group.

He describes himself as aggressive on the man with a good reading of the game and good anticipation. His recovery is clean, he was trained at the beginning of his career as a striker then as a number ten before settling as a defender.

He is right-footed but he has worked a lot on his left foot, which means that there is not much difference between his two feet. He intends to gain a lot of experience in contact with Jan Vertonghen, he hopes that he will have a mentoring role with him as was the case with Simon Kjaer in Milan.

The latter was contacted by the Danish coach of RSCA to get information about the Serbian defender. He does not see his transfer as a step backwards, there is a project for him at RSCA he announces.

His transfer to RSCA probably increases his chances of becoming a Serbian international, he thinks, and this will come through good performances with his new club, he concludes.
