Jerome Robinson, a former top 13 NBA draft pick in Saint-Quentin

Saint-Quentin, the surprising 6th of the last Betclic Elite regular season, unveiled the final face of its 2024-2025 squad on Wednesday. It is American guard Jerome Robinson (27 years old, 1.97 m) who is coming off three seasons in the G-League with the Santa-Cruz Warriors. Since his draft in 13th position in 2018 by the Los Angeles Clippers, and a stint with the Washington Wizards before joining the Golden State Warriors antechamber, Robinson has not managed to validate the hopes placed in him. Even if he is coming off a solid statistical season with an average of 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.

By landing at a participant in the next Champions League and a club with a certain Nolan Traoré in its ranks – an 18-year-old French promise who should attract American scouts – the full-back is ensuring himself some visibility and an opportunity to get back on track. “The arrival of Jerome closes our summer recruitment. He is a player capable of playing in positions 2 and 3. Talented, altruistic, he will discover Europe under our colours”, commented Picardy coach Julien Mahé.
